The two have been friends for years, meeting in 2019 at a Dermalogica event and later bonding during *Dancing with the Stars*. They’ve already attended each other’s weddings and have a history of working together, though neither had previously co-hosted a show. Their dynamic is described as natural and balanced: Katja Mia is meticulous with details, while Laura Fox handles stress with humor and reassurance. "I think that's why we operate well together, even with the show, and with our weddings," Laura joked. Katja agreed, saying she finds it surprising they didn’t collaborate sooner, given their parallel life journeys—both engaged and planning weddings in May. Katja, who transitioned from TV to radio after covering Bláthnaid Treacy’s slot during maternity leave, expressed excitement about radio’s authenticity. "The more experience I had doing Saturday and Sunday morning, I think I just fell in love with it," she said. Laura echoed this enthusiasm, calling the show a "really great" opportunity.
