Annie Potts pens heartfelt tribute to co-star Tim Curry

Jump to content All News Sport Culture Lifestyle Actor Annie Potts, who starred alongside Tim Curry in the 1988 comedy Pass the Ammo and the 1997 sitcom Over the Top , has posted a heartfelt tribute to her colleague and friend. Curry, 80, died in LA on 25 August; his official cause of death has not yet been released. In a post on Instagram, Potts, who is perhaps best known for her role as receptionist Janine Melnitz in Ghostbusters and its sequels, farewelled her “darling Tim” alongside a photo of the pair at her wedding. She wrote: “My Best Man at my wedding. My neighbor. My boys’ Uncle. He taught me about friendship and cooking and design and gardens. I taught him how to fish.” She went on: “I am so happy that you are released now....into a most beautiful garden....
