Arjun Kapoor becomes emotional remembering late mother at sister Anshula’s wedding

Actor Arjun Kapoor became emotional while speaking about his late mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor, at his sister Anshula Kapoor’s wedding. He shared that he felt her presence during the celebrations, saying she would have loved every ritual. Arjun recalled how their mother would have ensured every detail met the wishes of Rohan’s family, danced, celebrated, and personally tended to the guests. Referring to the rain outside, he stated, ‘I know she is here with us tonight because all this rain outside is her tears of happiness. It is her blessing, and she is blessing both of you.’ He broke down on stage, with Anshula embracing him. Later, Arjun spoke about missing Anshula after she moved out of their home, saying he ‘did not realise how important’ she was to him until she was no longer around. Anshula recalled her brother’s emotions during the wedding, emphasizing the pride, happiness, and tears he displayed. Anshula was last seen in the reality show ‘The Traitors,’ which aired on Prime Video. Arjun and Anshula are children of producer Boney Kapoor and his first wife, Mona Shourie Kapoor.
