However, on Friday, August 21, when he was expected to perform at the Country Rising Festival in Winnipeg, Canada, the festival announced he would not perform. The reason was revealed: Xavier Landum (BigXthaPlug) was arrested by the Allen Police Department and taken to Collin County Jail in Texas. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of less than two ounces of marijuana, and unlawful possession of a firearm. Despite the arrest, BigXthaPlug was released from jail on bond Saturday morning and confirmed his freedom through social media. He is scheduled to perform as the headliner at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines on Saturday, with XOLEX joining him as a special guest.
