Caitlin Clark spoke with Ashley ShahAhmadi after the Indiana Fever's win over the Chicago Sky, reflecting on her career-high 37 points and what the Fever are trying to do moving forward. Video Transcript End of a long road trip, second night of a back-to-back. What was the turning point in that second half? I think just our defense. We held them to 40 points this half and scored a lot of points. So, it's just the mindset. Like, you can tell yourself you're tired or you can tell yourself you're gonna go out there and dominate. I felt like that's what I told myself, that's what I told my teammates. And, you know, there was only one option and that was to win. I'm proud of everyone stepping up. Obviously, being down at the half hurts, but just proud of our group. Now we have five days off before one more game before the break. For you personally, Caitlin, 37 points, eight threes, a new career high for you from deep, and 10 assists. When did you know tonight was gonna be a good night for you? Before the game started. I said, 'It's gonna be one of those nights.' It wasn't the delusional energy from the commercial break, but I think I just got some really good sleep at the hotel last night from 3:00 AM to about 11:00 AM. So I got nice hours, woke up, watched a film, went through the scout, and came and played. Your teammate Kelsey scored 30 points as well. How much do you two feed off each other? Yeah, nobody better to be in the backcourt with. Just really proud of her. In the first half, she had seven points, but she always comes to life, so I wanted to get her going. And then, she did what Kelsey has been doing all year, and I'm just really proud of her. As for the mentality, one game at a time. Every game is important going down the stretch. We're in a battle to get home court for the next six games, or five, whichever we get. Connecticut's important on Friday, and that's where our attention turns. Caitlin, you don't even look tired. It's impressive. Congrats on the win. Let's go play another.
