'Comfortable anywhere': Fremantle embrace MCG challenge

Fremantle are embracing being the hunted on the biggest stage in the AFL, with key forward Josh Treacy saying the club is relishing a rare trip to the MCG to play Melbourne. The Dockers travel to the MCG on Saturday for their last home game before the playoffs. Treacy emphasized the importance of the match, stating, "I understand there is going to be a big narrative about it and us making the journey over there." He highlighted the Dockers' game style, saying, "The game style of the Dockers will stand up on any ground, including the MCG." The team has won their past two games at the MCG, and five of their past eight. Despite already having a top spot secured, Treacy noted there is still much to play for. "It's always nice to get out on the 'G, and growing up in Victoria and the hype about playing on the biggest stadium in Australia, it's always exciting to have the opportunity to run out there," he said. "We're comfortable anywhere we're playing, to be honest. Happy Fremantle players walk off the MCG after beating Essendon on May 17 this year." The Dockers' confidence is strong, with belief that they can win anywhere. Meanwhile, the sixth-placed Demons are in a logjam of clubs that could either climb into the top four or drop into the wildcard finals zone. Melbourne are one win ahead of eighth spot, and one win behind fourth. Treacy commented on the Demons, saying, "Clearly they have been a good side this year. And we met this morning about what their best looks like and where we feel like we can get a hold of them." However, he acknowledged it won't be an easy task.
