The D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, presented by Visa, featured two days of immersive experiences at the Anaheim Convention Center and the Honda Center. On the second day, Disney Experiences Showcase, hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, unveiled major updates including Tomorrowland’s reimagining at Disneyland Park, new attractions at Walt Disney World Resort (Tropical Americas, Monstropolis, Villains Land), and expansions at Disneyland Resort (Coco attraction, Avengers Campus). International highlights included a Lion King-themed area in Paris, new Marvel experiences in Hong Kong and Shanghai, and a reimagined Space Mountain in Tokyo. Key announcements also included the return of the Yeti in Expedition Everest and plans for Journey Into Imagination’s reimagining at EPCOT with Figment and Dreamfinder. The event featured surprise performances by Grammy Award-winning artists like Sheryl Crow, Beck, Los Lobos, and Gloria Gaynor, alongside celebrity cameos. Additionally, updates were shared on Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends greenlighting for a seventh season on Disney Jr. and Disney+, the development of a new Disney Princess Experience, and an exclusive first screening of LEGO® Star Wars: The Mandalorian. The event celebrated Disney’s global expansion of experiences, with Thomas Mazloum, Chairman of Disney Experiences, emphasizing fan-centric storytelling and future adventures. The Anaheim Convention Center also hosted fan-favorite panels, immersive activations, and shopping opportunities, including a D23 Mousequerade costume contest and screenings of beloved films like Camp Rock 3, Bluey, and Marvel’s Spider-Man series.
