Two-Part Narrative: Chief Creative Officer Jennifer Lee revealed that Frozen 3 is part of an interconnected two-part storyline, leading directly into a planned Frozen 4 . Visual First Look: The concept art shows Queen Anna and Elsa riding on horseback toward a mysterious, glowing kingdom looming on the horizon, alongside a shadowy Viking-like figure. Target Release Window: Disney confirmed the film is eyeing a theatrical release date around November 2027 . In case you didn’t hear the news, Frozen 3 is on the way, and it’s going to be an adventure. Making an appearance at Disney’s D23 showcase this past weekend was Kristen Bell, who told the crowd that the film will focus on Anna’s impending nuptials to her fiancé Kristoff. Additionally, the film is slated to make its debut in theaters on Nov. 24, 2027. While specific plot points remain under tight guard, Disney confirmed that Frozen 3 is scheduled to premiere in theaters around November 2027, adhering to the franchise’s traditional Thanksgiving release corridor. With Jennifer Lee returning to write and executive produce alongside director director Bob Iger’s broader animation strategy, the two-part event is set to expand the Wizarding-style scope of Disney’s flagship animated universe. Now, we all know how successful the Frozen franchise has been, but what kind of numbers are we talking about exactly? Well, the first film grossed $1.3 billion during its theater run in 2013, with the sequel pulling in a whopping $1.5 billion upon its release in 2019.
