Girls’ Generation-HRS sets debut with ‘Skibidi’

The Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Sooyoung unit will release its two-track digital single on Aug. 31. Girls’ Generation-HRS, a unit composed of three members of Girls’ Generation, will release its debut digital single, ‘Skibidi,’ on Aug. 31, said its agency SM Entertainment on Saturday. The album will consist of two tracks: ‘Skibidi’ — a mixture of house and hip-hop music with lyrics delivering a message of creating one’s own style of path — and B-side track ‘Lowkey in Love.’ Girls’ Generation-HRS consists of members Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Sooyoung. The group was formed through Hyoyeon’s personal YouTube channel. Girls’ Generation is a second-generation girl group that gained immense popularity since their debut in 2007. Its iconic hit songs include ‘Kissing You’ (2007), ‘Gee’ (2009), and ‘Run Devil Run’ (2010).
