The ongoing marital tension between Govinda and Sunita Ahuja has escalated. Sunita Ahuja claimed she withdrew her divorce petition due to Govinda’s alleged plans to marry Komal Rani Swarnkar. Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, dismissed these claims, stating there is no second marriage and expressing hope the couple can resolve their differences. Sunita Ahuja said she withdrew the divorce case because Govinda and Komal were allegedly planning to get married. Govinda’s manager, in an interview, said, ‘There’s nothing like this, nor will it happen. She is his wife, and there must be something going on in her mind.’ He added that if Govinda were planning a second marriage, he would have filed for divorce himself. Sunita Ahuja’s claims were made during a phone conversation with Rakhi Sawant. Govinda and Sunita’s marriage began in 1987, but Sunita filed for divorce in 2024, citing adultery, cruelty, and desertion. After Govinda’s recent remarks, Sunita was seen exiting Mumbai’s Bandra Family Court on August 19, accompanied by her son Yashvardhan. Shashi Sinha confirmed Sunita had withdrawn her divorce petition after two years.
