Warriors Draymond Green had the opportunity to insist on a no-trade clause but decided against it, stating it wasn’t worth fighting over. He received a 15 percent trade kicker instead. Despite trade speculation over the past year, both the Warriors and Draymond Green have consistently expressed a desire to finish his career with Golden State. Green emphasized that if the Warriors want to trade him, they will, and he has no desire to stay in a place where he is unwanted. The Nuggets added veteran guard Lonnie Walker IV to their roster on a one-year deal. Walker, 27, previously played for the Spurs, Lakers, Nets, and Sixers, and averaged 15.2 points in EuroLeague play. Denver lost Tim Hardaway Jr. and Jalen Pickett this offseason, making backcourt depth a priority. Walker’s arrival may also mark the end of Bruce Brown’s second stint with the Nuggets as the team reorganizes its roster. The Clippers made room for two reported two-way signings: Jalen Pickett and Jamarion Sharp. Los Angeles waived guard Sean Pedulla after agreeing to two-way deals with the two players. Pedulla appeared in seven games with the Clippers last season but spent most of his time in the G League, earning Rookie of the Year honors with averages of 23.6 points, 6.7 assists, and 5.0 rebounds. The move clears another roster spot ahead of training camp, as NBA teams are limited to three two-way players.
