South Korean group NCT 127 has released its seventh full-length album, Blingy, amid its 10th anniversary. The release became the group’s first major release in nearly two years since Walk, which came out in July 2024. As The Korea Herald reports , five members are currently promoting the record, while seven took part in its recording. A pre-release press conference was held at Lotte World Tower in southern Seoul. Group leader Taeyong noted that NCT 127’s lineup had changed over the decade and that adapting to those changes had been difficult. At the same time, he said that when the members reunited after some time apart, it strengthened their mutual trust. Five members in promotions Doyoung and Jungwoo are completing mandatory military service and therefore are not taking part in promoting the album. The song 127 Million Miles, the only track on the record featuring all seven members, was recorded before their service began. The pop-rock composition is dedicated to the connection between NCT 127 and its fans regardless of distance. More current news is available on the UA.News Telegram channel Telegram . The title track Blingy combines distorted synthesizer sounds and heavy drum beats with elements of rage music and dubstep. Haechan said the song was selected from among the tracks Pinata and Legacy because it best demonstrated the capabilities of the current five-member lineup on stage and in music. Plans for the second decade Taeyong also expressed respect for former member Mark, who left NCT and SM Entertainment in July. He said he supports the path chosen by Mark. Jaehyun named NCT 127’s willingness to experiment with music, concepts and performances as one of its main achievements. The members said they want to continue developing the group’s musical identity. Johnny said he would like to preserve NCT 127’s reputation as a strong live-performance group, while Taeyong mentioned larger-scale performances after Doyoung and Jungwoo return from military service. The group’s fifth world tour, Neo City — The Redline, will begin with three concerts on September 18–20 at KSPO Dome in Seoul. Read us on Telegram and Sends
