Northamptoshire Dogfather set for Strictly after stroke recovery

TV dog trainer Graeme Hall says it is a 'dream come true' to be on Strictly Come Dancing after a stroke in 2019, which initially made him think he would never dance again. Hall, known as the Dogfather from Channel 5’s Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly, will appear on the BBC One show launching in September 2026. Despite giving up dancing after his illness, he has now made a full recovery and is excited to return. Hall will only find out his dance partner during the show’s launch on 26 September 2026. He also fronts The Dog Hospital, contributes to BBC radio, ITV’s This Morning, and writes a regular column for The Times. Previously, he danced in local competitions, including Strictly Northampton, and made a cameo in the drama All Creatures Great and Small.
