Paris Jackson has released her second studio album, Happiest Day Of My Life, through Republic Records, marking the next stage of a recording career that began with 2020’s Wilted. Released on August 21, the 11-track album is accompanied by a music video for its title track, “Happiest Day Of My Life,” which serves as the record’s focus track. Jackson has described the new album as “a collision of sound, experience, and emotion,” drawing on formative influences including The Smashing Pumpkins, Pixies, Marcy Playground, and Bright Eyes. The record was developed with songwriters and producers including Linda Perry, Butch Walker, and Jason Lader, while Jackson remains central to the songwriting. The album represents a shift towards a heavier and more dynamic alternative rock sound. Its songs examine healing, heartbreak, self-discovery, and the search for light following difficult periods, themes that connect the record’s material while giving Jackson a broader musical palette than on her debut. Three songs from the album were released ahead of the full record: “Zombies In Love,” “Teenage Drama,” and “Stitched (On & On).” Jackson also performed “Zombies In Love” and “Happiest Day Of My Life” on Good Morning America as part of the programme’s 2026 Summer Concert Series. The release comes during an active period on the road. Jackson is undertaking her first Zombies Tour across North America and has also joined The Pretty Reckless for selected performances. The campaign will extend into Europe and the U.K. in the northern autumn, where Jackson is scheduled to headline shows including Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, and London. Paris Jackson’s recorded music career predates Wilted. In 2018, she formed The Soundflowers with Gabriel Glenn, performing original material and developing a roots-oriented sound.
