Rajamouli to release 'Varanasi' in 120 countries with real voices

The movie will be dubbed in around 50 languages and released in 120 countries. Instead of relying on AI voices, Rajamouli wants real voice actors so every version keeps the emotional punch of the original. Rajamouli team auditions 1,500+ voice artists Rajamouli's team will audition over 1,500 voice artists to find the perfect matches for each character in different languages, from Hindi and Tamil to French, Japanese, and more. With this move, Varanasi becomes only the second Indian film to release in over 120 countries, a big milestone for both Rajamouli and Indian cinema. The global release is set for April 7, 2027!
