Singer Alex Warren cancels Auckland show

American singer Alex Warren has called off his show at Spark Arena tonight for medical reasons. Frontier touring company announced the cancellation this afternoon, stating ticket holders will receive an automatic refund. Warren posted on social media: "This breaks my heart to even write this, but I have to cancel tonight's show. I'm sadly bed-ridden. I can barely talk, let alone sing." The performance was part of his Finding Family on the Road 2026 World Tour, with Auckland being one of two New Zealand stops; he had previously performed in Christchurch on August 21. At 25 years old, Warren said he had "never had to do this" and had "tried everything to make it work." He acknowledged those who traveled for the concert, noting that knowing people had come from all over New Zealand made the decision even harder. He concluded with: "I love you so much and I hope you understand."
