Sid Wilson joined Slipknot in 1998 and became one of the most recognisable members of the band's classic lineup as #0, contributing turntables, samples, and an infamously chaotic live presence across the group's rise from Iowa outsiders to one of the biggest metal bands on the planet. His exit makes him the latest longtime member to depart the Slipknot ranks. Percussionist Chris Fehn left the band in 2019, while sampler and keyboardist Craig Jones departed in 2023. Founding drummer Joey Jordison left in 2013 and later died in 2021, while founding bassist Paul Gray died in 2010 while still an active member of the group. Wilson's departure also arrives amid major changes in his personal life, with TMZ previously reporting that he and Kelly Osbourne had ended their relationship earlier this year. The pair welcomed a son together in 2022, and Wilson later proposed to Osbourne backstage at Ozzy Osbourne's farewell 'Back To The Beginning' concert in Birmingham in 2025.
