MUMBAI: The Women’s Asia Cup 2026, starting August 28 and running until September 13, will feature a star-studded commentary panel. Sony Sports Network and Sony LIV have announced a panel of former international cricketers and experts, including former India captain Mithali Raj, Anjum Chopra, Veda Krishnamurthy, Reema Malhotra, Niranjana Nagarajan, Sunitha Anand, W.V. Raman, Farveez Maharoof, Sana Mir, Marina Iqbal, Ahmed Raza, Mazhar Uddin, and others. The commentary will be available in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. The English panel includes Annesha Ghosh, Veda Krishnamurthy, Sana Mir, Marina Iqbal, Charvi Bhatt, Ahmed Raza, Mazhar Uddin, and Farveez Maharoof. Hindi commentary features Reema Malhotra, Vivek Razdan, Atish Thukral, Nishad Pai Vaidya, Paul Valthaty, Yash Pathak, Juili Ballal, and Gargi Raut. Tamil commentary includes W.V. Raman, Niranjana Nagarajan, Shailaja Sunder, and Sai Raaghul. Telugu commentary features Keerthi Vishwanadha, Sunitha Anand, Hari Kishore Maladi, Akhilesh G, and Surya Pranav. Kannada commentary will be handled by Sahana Pawar, Sharath HS, and Dhanush Lavanya. The tournament’s flagship studio show, Extraaa Innings, will feature Mithali Raj, Anjum Chopra, W.V. Raman, Reema Malhotra, Tanya Purohit, and Gargi Raut. Matches include Thailand vs. Hong Kong (Aug 28), Sri Lanka vs. UAE (Aug 29), India vs. Thailand (Aug 30), India vs. Hong Kong (Sep 3), and the India-Pakistan clash (Sep 5). The semi-finals are on Sep 10–11, and the final is on Sep 13. All matches start at 8 pm on Sony Sports Network’s channels and Sony LIV.
