[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju] The film 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' (hereinafter 'Spider-Man 4') has surpassed $2 billion in worldwide box office revenue. According to Box Office Mojo, 'Spider-Man 4' crossed $2,022.54 million (approximately 2.85 trillion won) as of the 18th. It achieved this in 17 days of release, marking the second-fastest record following 'Avengers: Endgame' (11 days). It is the eighth film in history to surpass the $2 billion mark. In particular, local box office enthusiasm is heating up. North American revenue alone reached $800 million (approximately 1.12 trillion won), the fastest pace (19 days) among all films released to date. Tom Holland, who plays the lead role, is projected to earn over $100 million (approximately 139.9 billion won), with a base fee plus backend guarantee. This figure is around $20 million, more than double compared to the previous film. Meanwhile, 'Spider-Man 4' tells the story of Peter Parker (played by Tom Holland), who has been forgotten by everyone, facing a new threat.
