With this milestone, “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” has surpassed the domestic ticket sales figures of its predecessors—“Spider-Man: Far From Home” in 2019 had 8.02 million admissions; “Spider-Man: No Way Home” in 2021 had 7.55 million; and “Spider-Man: Homecoming” in 2017 had 7.25 million—to become the highest-grossing installment in the Tom Holland-led “Spider-Man” series. “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” the fourth film in the series, follows Peter Parker as he navigates loneliness and confusion after being erased from the memory of everyone who once knew him.
