Toronto has begun installing temporary ‘BTS Boulevard’ signs along Yonge Street in North York ahead of BTS’ sold-out concerts this weekend. The city will install 20 black-and-red signs featuring the branding of BTS’ ‘Arirang’ tour. The signs are scheduled to remain in place through Sept. 23. This initiative follows a motion introduced by Councillor Lily Cheng in July and later approved by the City Council. BTS will perform at Rogers Stadium in Toronto on Saturday and Sunday as part of its ‘Arirang’ tour. The concerts coincide with the Korean Harvest Festival at Mel Lastman Square in North York, which is billed as Canada’s largest Korean cultural festival.
