Top Beatles tribute band to play live gig at Hexham venue

Beatles Complete will perform at Queen’s Hall on September 5. They have played more than 270 shows at Liverpool’s iconic Cavern Club and remain the youngest ever Beatles band to hold a residency there. A spokesperson said: "Whilst they can’t promise all the screaming and tears from the 60s, they can give you a host of classic songs brilliantly performed by a band of accomplished multi-instrumentalists, spanning right across The Beatles’ recording history, from Please Please Me right through to Let It Be." The band currently performs every Thursday at the Cavern Club, regularly filling the venue with their high-energy tribute. Aged between 19 and 23, the members aim to recreate the excitement of seeing the original Beatles during their rise to fame. Described by the Cavern Club as "one of the most exciting Beatles tributes around," the group delivers an authentic sound and stage presence. They have also been featured on the BBC, appeared on TV in Japan and the Netherlands, and performed in the recent Beatles documentary No Hamburg – No Beatles. For the past five years, Beatles Complete have performed at International Beatle Week and have been invited to return again this year. Their extended theatre show is currently touring across the UK. The band’s Hexham performance promises to be a highlight for Beatles fans in the region. The show will last approximately two hours and 20 minutes, including an interval. Tickets start from £25 and are available through the Queen’s Hall box office.
