Toxic English trailer is 11 seconds shorter than Indian version. What has changed?

Yash’s Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups has offered two versions of its trailer: a shorter English cut and a longer Kannada/Indian version. Key differences include the absence of the 'use headphones for better experience' warning in the English trailer and slightly longer credits in the Kannada version. Notably, Yash’s monologue during a gunpoint scene is extended by a few seconds in the Kannada version. The trailer establishes Toxic as a gangster drama centered on a fractured father-son relationship between Raya and Rumi (Ticket), played by Yash himself. It introduces themes of violence, betrayal, and ideological conflict between Raya and Ticket, culminating in a physical showdown. The film’s darker themes—misogyny, heartbreak, and greed—are woven into the action. The trailer also showcases a star-studded cast, including Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, and Geetu Mohandas as director.
