Kraft (knee) appears on track to be available for the Packers' Week 1 matchup with the Vikings on Sunday, Sept. 13, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Kraft spent the first two days of training camp on the active/PUP list but has been active on the field for most practices since then, including Monday’s session where he ran routes in full pads while catching passes from QB Jordan Love without a sleeve on his right knee. His torn ACL from Week 9 of last season is a concern, but his progress aligns with an expected return for the regular-season opener. Another key question is whether Kraft and the Packers can agree on a contract extension. Meanwhile, Brooks is not suited up for Thursday’s preseason game in Pittsburgh. Golden (toe) and Reed (ankle) returned to practice Tuesday, while Jacobs (groin) is out for at least this week. Love is scheduled for Thursday’s preseason game but may be replaced by coach Matt LaFleur. Williams had a good day at Sunday’s practice session. Golden did not practice due to a toe injury, and Reed missed Sunday’s session due to an ankle injury. Jacobs did not practice again on Friday.
